Very wide angles are hard to master though the whole scene seems squished in the middle djib 2010 11 30 10 30 31 Walking is good for health Roadrunner Roadrunner 2010 11 30 23 52 03 And running as well beep beep Sorry your name always made me think of Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies djib 2010 12 02 10 22 23 Add comment NIKON D50

  • Black beach - djib's photoblog - Travel and day-life pictures
impossible perspective Did you fix the wide angle lens distorsion before stiching The black part of the beach doesn t please me so I m trying to figure out how this could have been made to get a better final result but I haven t found yet Don t mind the percentage of criticism is this post it s just my being French that comes to the surface Ithryn 2010 11 24 23 17 00 Thanks Ithryn I love nice constructive feedback I have a similar feeling about distortion especially around the two biggest white buildings I think the explanation is not barrel distortion but a wavy horizon I have tried messing around with the alignment but couldn t improve the shot I got sick of fail retry and just kept the original I need to find a better technique or be more careful in the first place when shooting I enhanced the luminosity on the black sand maybe that s what you find unpleasant Or are you talking about the shadow djib 2010 11 24 23 51 36 You re probably right about the wavy horizon The shadow is quite alright with me as we have its source The sand might not be dark enough but that s not my concern here I think that what I don t like is the ratio of sand and sky in the picture With another perspective and a narrower panorama this might have looked better but such a perspective might not have been available at least without a boat Ithryn 2010 11 25 23 34 34 I think I see your point Oh well I ll do better next time As I said it s not perfect but it s the first one that I guess comes out all right djib 2010
